ABOUT THE PROJECT

We Are Reach secured 3,000 sqft of new office space to house their growing team. A typical period property offering in central Bath, we worked with the challenging building footprint to maximise the functionality of the space, created a design aesthetic to represent the essence of their brand and future proofed it for the inevitable next phase of growth. We took the time to provide additional guidance and support on the whole process, enabling the client team to make better informed decisions for their first office design.

"I was really impressed with how Fable and Form dealt with our pretty unreasonable timeline, and opened doors for us in terms of unlocking more budget. Furthermore, I felt that the budget we ended up with was totally maximised. We spent where it was necessary, and saved where possible"

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Following a strip out back to shell & core, we worked with property developer Capsule Properties to create a workspace for 299 Lighting in their 8,000 sqft industrial building. The design concept included inspiration taken from the historical details sourced at the Bristol Archives regarding the building’s past uses, applied principles to reduce the amount of materials required, and used natural and sustainable solutions throughout. Priority was given to local suppliers, artists and social enterprises to deliver the associated works.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

In a 2,000 sq ft building full of the grand characteristics of neoclassical architecture, we created a warm and homely atmosphere for television company Five Mile Films. The space planning was an especially important stage in the design process for this client to explore the range of possible layouts for their requirements, as their space occupies four floors with both front and rear access. Finishes and furniture were carefully considered to provide both the durability of a commercial workspace solution alongside a residential inspired aesthetic.

THE LOCKSBROOK, BATH.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

A popular pitstop on the bank of Bath’s canal, the Locksbrook Inn’s redesign for the bar focused on maximising its efficiencies to better support the bar team and providing a new drop down space for customers visiting with laptops. The design was detailed out on site with the client team to walk through the adjacencies of all the sections of the bar and when finalised, a bespoke stainless steel bar was fabricated on the final design.

"Fable and Form worked with us on a number of bar fit out projects, helping us reinvent previously tired and inefficient work spaces into something special. They were great to work with, bringing great ideas to the table whilst being open to ideas we were keen on; it felt like a really good partnership. I was really impressed by the professionalism of their presented work and drawings, but more than anything, I loved working with them – they were great fun and lovely people."

ABOUT THE PROJECT

With incredible countryside views, the Garden Bar at the Hare and Hounds has been designed as an extension of the pub’s main bar and kitchen, with an aesthetic to keep it in tune with its surroundings. The colour palette took inspiration from Bath’s historic treescapes to create a design that’s sympathetic with the countryside it sits in. The materials were chosen for their durability for its external location and also recycled in origin.
